the 90s are back
For a couple of seasons now, we have been warned that the 90s were gradually returning. For this spring-summer they have landed stronger than ever: “total-looks” of the same color, impossible make-up, skirt suits and bizarre color combinations. Get used to hearing the typical "this is already gone" because the 90s have returned, and it's time not only to adapt it to our own style, but also how to wear it in 2021.
1. Fuchsia
Fuchsia is going to be one of the star colors both in clothes and in footwear and makeup. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of this color is one of Versace's most iconic looks from 1990, where a fuchsia blazer was combined with tights and shoes of the same shade. The famous Italian fashion house has done it again this season, reinventing the look, but keeping the same shade of pink.
As you already know, miMaO is colour, and our Sunny sandal will add that extra color that we look for so much in 90s looks. Our Savannah sandal will look great on you if you combine it with any fuchsia look.
2. Platforms
platforms. Flat platform shoes were undoubtedly a cult product during these years. They were seen in television series, fashion magazines, and on the streets. Without a doubt, they were the best way to combine a greater height without having to wear impossible stilettos. This season, we've brought both: platforms and platform loafers, but also heels with comfortable platforms to cushion each step.
For a platform flat loafer, check out our Trend loafer , comfortable and stylish! But if you prefer platform sandals, we totally recommend our Pompom sandal!
3. Poles
Another recent trend from the wonderful 90s are the polo shirts. This classic short-sleeved collared T-shirt is reinvented to rejuvenate this season's looks. We can see the use of ribbing or maxi knitting as new materials.
This style of t-shirt has always been associated with sporty or informal looks. Combine this trend with your favorite sneakers like our Walk sneaker .
